This Vintage Circa1950-60's FORSBERG MFG CO. WHALE W-790 HAND CRANKED DRILL is in Excellent condition. There are no cracks and a minimum of scratches or signs of use. It appears that the ferrule is missing from the detachable side handle. The chuck works perfectly. It features a hardwood handle and knobs and a screw cap for holding drill bits. It measures 15-3/8" OAL. Stamped on the sidebar of the crank handle is "FORSBERG MFG CO."; the Whale Logo; "W-790" and "BRIDGEPORT, CT.".

There are no previous owner's names or ID markings on this tool.

We have not cleaned or refurbished this drill in any manner, as we leave those decisions up to the eventual buyer.
