Welding Wrenches, Non-Sparking, 2pcs, Used: These 2 wrenches are made of a non-sparking material. We thought that they were made of Beryllium Copper until we read this: Berylco safety tools should not be used in contact with acetylene or acetylene bearing equipment. Acetylene may react with the copper of the tool to form an explosive acetylide. Tools containing less than fifty percent copper, such as Monel alloys, may be used in an acetylene environment.
These 2 wrenches look like the steel ones that we have sold for years as Oxy-Acetylene Welding Wrenches, however they are non-sparking. They are either made of High Strength Nickel Aluminum Bronze or they were not made as Oxy-Acetylene Welding Wrenches. We are not sure.
The larger wrench has 3 open ended sizes on it: 1-5/16”; 1-1/8” and 1”.
The smaller wrench has 4 open ended sizes on it: 7/8”; 3/4”; 11/16” and 2 different 1/4", one on the side and one on the end.
